What can God do through you? Our hearts often believe the lie that we need to prove our worth to God, that he expects great performance and great results, and is disappointed with those who don’t deliver. Yet God has shown us time and again in the Bible that it’s his steadfast love, his patience, his mercy and his compassion that is the decisive force of redemption. God loves to take faithless, flawed, failing, fearful and forgettable people, and do amazing things through them for his glory. Why not now? Why not us? Jesus is building his church, and he is working out his purposes in our time, in our town, even through you.
